On the eastern shore of the lake, framed by a magnificent background, Bellano stands on the slopes of Monte Muggio and at the mouth of the Pioverna river.

Bellano is a pictoresque village with a beautiful lakefront from where many small streets lead to the old town. To discover the old Bellano, you have to enter on foot the narrow streets, where the sun fails to filter and you can catch glimpses of landscape through the narrow arcs.
It is easy to come across courtyards and entrance halls of seventeenth-century and neoclassical architecture. Porches, exterior stairs, patios, coats of arms of noble families still visible on the portals are evidences of the ancient past.
Walking around the village you can't stop noticing how pictoresque is the scenery with all those carachteristic streets and the beautiful decorated façades.
The center of Bellano is 2 km from the Residence Borgo Balansc accessible by bus service or more easily by car. Bellano is served by rail (Milano-Sondrio), by the highway SS.36 Milano-Lecco-Colico, by the navigation of Lake Como.
The Residence Borgo del Belanasc is therefore the ideal place for starting exploring Lake Como and its wonders or just relaxing.
